LG Signature lead the way with her home appliances in a modern home

Ultra-premium LG brand, the LG Signature lead the way with her intuitive, sophisticated technology with a modern minimalist designs. Together LG partner with two-time winner of Asia's Best Pastry Chef, Janice Wong of 2am:dessertbar, to bring about a multi-sensory edible art journey.

At the launch, mediacorps celebrities were there to add to the excitement to the launch. It was a pretty exciting event with music played by musicians in an orchestra style together with a conductor.

"Our driving principle is to ensure that the essence of our products is preserved from idea generation through to the end-user experience." said Mr. Brian Park, Vice President of LG Electronics Singapore."LG SIGNATURE is the embodiment of everything that is important to LG and we hope to convey that philosophy to customers who appreciate great products from strong bands."

Refrigerator

Intuitive and revolutionary with its award-winning Door-in-Door design which took one step further by adding an InstaView Door-in-Door feature, which makes the opaque Door-in-Door compartment transparent with a simple knock. In addition, it is powered by LG's Inverter Linear Compressor.

OLED TV W7 Series

Timeless design and top-of-the-line technology. A trendsetter in its category, the TV is the winner of numerous awards, including the highly acclaimed CES 2017 "Best of Innovations" Award.

Air Purifier

Unique design that departs from the usual boxy look. Visual experience through the Rain View Window, which users can view the air purification process and the inner workings of the air purifier. It features an advanced Watering System, which harnesses the power of water to filter out harmful chemicals and contaminants while quickly bringing the room to comfortable humidity levels.

Washing Machine

Maximum Efficiency with LG TWINWash. The minimalistic design is the highlighted by the beautiful touch-enabled Quick Circle User Interface which is embedded in the glass door. It comes with LG's proprietary Centum System, which improves the washing machine's durability and energy efficiency with an advanced suspension system. Noise emission is greatly reduced because it minimizes the tub's vibrations during a wash cycle.

With LG Signature, it leads the way to better technology and comfort in home appliances. One thing for sure, I just can't get enough of Chef Janice's desserts. They are very delicious.

SIAM SQUARE สยามสแควร์ Movie Review

Review

This is a horror mystery movie. Although not so much horror, but more of a mystery. Initial part of the movie, I was a bit confused but as the movie start to develop, it gets clearer. The young casts are good looking with majority of them are of Thai Chinese.

As usual, in any horror movie, there are shocked moments from the ghost. Two seats away, the two girls were holding their pop-corn boxes as part of their shield during those scary moments. Honestly, I don't find them scary.

If you are into horror or mystery movie especially those from Thailand, this movie will suit you perfectly. My rating is 2.5 / 5. It will start showing in cinema from 11 May 2017.

天公仔 LUCKY BOY Movie Review

Gala Premiere

Check out my video on the gala premiere

Review

An affection for a girl that started from a very tender age. Great acting from the three guys who grew up chasing girls. A fun loving movie from a local production. With the director vast experience as a award winning script writer in mediacorps, he definitely excel in this movie as a director. He also very detail for things in the movie. The movie settings started from 1970s. You get to enjoy some of the beautiful songs as it passes through the years. Somehow, the movie bring back some old nostalgic music, places to those who have good old days memories of yesterday.

The casts are familiar to our local Singapore audience. I guessed it is our local brand of humour that bring all races together in Singapore. Something that we can appreciate.  There are some touching moments as well as one shocking news somewhere in the middle of the movie. I guessed life is unpredictable.

The movie has the backing of Jack Neo, Clover Film Singapore and MM2. Watch it in cinemas from 18 May 2017.

My rating is 3.5 / 5

Synopsis

Shawn Yue and Miriam Yeung reprise their popular roles as Jimmy and Cherie in this third installment of the romantic comedy Love in a Puff.

Back together since Love in the Buff, Jimmy and Cherie strive to stay together happily ever after. But the shocking news of Cherie’s philandering father marrying a girl younger than herself does not make things any easier for Cherie…

Review

Honestly, I do like Miriam Yeung acting although I am not her fan. She always to be a cocky and kind of funny. If you are a fan of Shawn Yue and Miriam Yeung, you must watch this show. If you are a dating couple, you must also watch the movie. If you are already a married couple, then you will know the ups and down of a married couple living together.

In the movie, both Shawn and Miriam are a couple living together. Not married. But they enjoy the lives as a married couple. A lot of humour in the beginning of the movies. Audience just float along with the movie. Enjoy the little things that the couple do together. But guy as usual are big boys who still love his toys while the lady are much more serious in their relationship.

The movie get a bit serious later as the idea of having a baby came into Shawn mind. And the let's get married seems like an unromantic way which Miriam felt that it is missing something sincere thinking that Shawn wanted a baby as a sort of toy for his liking.

In the end, watch how Shawn struggle to win Miriam over. Watch out for the end, there is an explosion of interesting and creative side show. Do miss this movie especially dating and married couple. I think after watching this movie, I believe you will have some thoughts over it.

My rating is 4/5. Now showing in cinema since 4 May 2017.

Manhunt Singapore 2017 ( Changing Lives ) Press Conference - 27 April 2017 ( Video )

I have previously attended Manhunt Singapore Press Conference in 2015. I was unable to attend the 2016 press conference but was fortunate enough to cover the Manhunt Singapore 2016 Final. Manhunt Singapore have been around for many years. It has long established itself as one of the important show in Singapore.

This year, there are a total of 20 Manhunt finalists and 10 Senior Manhunt finalists. In fact, Manhunt is a wonderful platform for finalists to showcase their looks and physique. It also allow finalists to embark on a journey to develop themselves and be groomed into fine modern gentlemen. While writing this, something just struck me on a recent bully case of a 76 years old elderly man by a couple at the Toa Payoh Lor 8 Food Centre. The man ( bully ) banged the elderly man from the back which make his fall forward. A gentleman will never behave in this way. Lack of social grace have prompted such undesirable behavior in our society. I believe Manhunt help to create awareness of a well groom gentleman in our society.

Each of the finalists are champions. The theme for this year edition is "Changing Lives". According to Manhunt Singapore, they wanted the finalists to understand, while the end product is important to look ahead to, what's more important is the process and the development phases that will shape and mould him for his life ahead. In fact, each of the finalists does have a unique story to tell. The story that have different elements which shape them into what they are today.

Beam also teamed up with the alumni of Manhunt to set up a non-profit organisation called ManKind Ltd, to allow the alumni to gather and build a force of good in a world that increasingly needs it. The adopted charity for this year is Helping Joy Ltd - a Singapore registered non-profit organisation which helps the needy and elderly of Singapore regardless of race, religion or language, by bring a little joy into their lives.

I will be looking forward to the final of Manhunt Singapore 2017.
