Tops IDA’s MyConnection SG peak speeds and 4G service coverage results

Singtel offers the fastest and widest 4G experience in Singapore, according to IDA’s just-released MyConnection SG crowdsourcing survey and 4G Mobile Service Coverage results.

Singtel registered a strong and consistent performance, edging ahead with 4G peak speeds at 130.8 Mbps and 3G peak speeds 31.2 Mbps[1]and 99.87% Nationwide Outdoor Service Coverage[2]. 

Mr Tay Yeow Lian, MD of Networks, Consumer Singapore, Singtel, said, “Investments in networks enhancements have enabled us to provide a consistent high-performance 4G experience that serves our customers well. We are in tune with their speed and coverage needs, and will plan ahead with network upgrades and new capabilities to ensure that customers continue to enjoy superior connectivity and unparalleled throughput speeds.”

Singtel topped the nation’s widest 4G outdoor coverage chart for the fifth consecutive quarter (Q4 2014 to Q4 2015) and is set to raise the bar for 4G indoor coverage with its nationwide deployment of a 4G LTE network on 900MHz spectrum band by end March 2016. A consumer favourite, it also won HWM+HardwareZone.com Tech Awards 2016: Readers Choice accolades for Best Telco (Singapore) and Best Fiber Broadband Service (Singapore).
